Bring In the New Tunes

Since I have to catch up on not posting for a while, my apologies, I will post some songs that have been dominating my electronic playlist for the past week.

 Let me start off by saying there is a brand new track that I highly suggest everyone should grab. This is a brand new banger from Skyrunner. Starts out as a dirty electro song and drops into some filthy dubstep towards the middle. What more can you ask for. Dean (Skyrunner) is on the move ladies and gentlemen.

Next up, is a brand new EP by Tom Piper, with a really catchy remix by Oliver Twizt. You all remember last time Oliver Twizt gave us pure FIRE with his remix of Afrojack's Polkadots. Check the original and the remix.

Tom Piper from Sydney Australia has been putting in work to these tracks. He got remixes of them by other artists, such as Oliver Twizt. Oliver Twizt produced the well known "Polkadots" 2010 Remix. Flux Pavillion

Brand new Flux. At Hard Haunted, Rusko opened with this and I was very proud of him. The crowd was so into it and was having a blast. Flux Pavilion has always been one of my favorite dubstep producers.

If you have never heard of Miles Dyson please listen to this track. Very Very similiar sounding to Dirtyloud. Both of these artists being from Brazil know how to compose floor bangers. HARD Haunted Mansion 2010

Get ready guys, cuz its about to go down in the next two days. Hard Haunted Mansion 2010. Tickets are sold out :( I am only going Day 1, Saturday (tonight), but I'm gunna give you the down low on who to see tomorrow night as well. First off and foremost, let me tell you guys that another person has stepped up to help me out with this up and coming blog. OBEY! His name is DJ KG. Youll be seeing some of his mixes. Anyway, here is the artists times, make sure to get there early because parking will be a bitch thanks to USC's homecoming football game. Look for me and say whaddup, I'll be wearing a batman shirt with a cape connected ;)

Okay first off and foremost, if you choose to get there by 7, that would definately be a good choice. Sticky K starts off things right at 7 sharp. Here's a song of his that you will most likely hear:

Now it already gets Hard. Mr. Oizo playing on the main stage at 9:20 vs. Destructo... SO WHY NOT BOTH?! Make You Pop by Diplo & Don Diablo has been remixed countless numbers of time. Although many of them were pretty decent, none of them lived up to the original. The original of Make You Pop got played on a Blackberry commercial so if you haven't heard it I'll throw it in. One that comes close is a dubstep remix by Hooky from London. He has been producing tracks professionally for at least 8 months. For all you dubsteppers check this tune.

Best part of any of the sets was when Laidback Luke dropped 'The Next Episode' into KNAS... Straight dirt. Job well done to Aoki and Laidback Luke. And the answer is no, since he's my homie that is not the reason why I'm throwin this mix up. SKYRUNNER

Dean Katzelis, also known as SKYRUNNER, produced a dope remix of Brap! by Bart B More. SKYRUNNER is from Orange County (same as me) and has been producing tracks for quite some time. This remix is way tight so make sure you grab it. Brap is one of my favorite songs of all times and you would think that a remix would just straight ruin the song, but if you thought that then you thought wrong. This remix definately is a change up from the original but backs it up. This track bumps.

Into The AM

Well, 2 more days until Into the AM... Laidback Luke, Steve Aoki, Sound Of Stero, LA Riots, and Them Jeans who is also with Dim Mak. Knowing that this is a Dim Mak filled event, the Grove in Anaheim is going to fucking erupt. Dim Mak is known for their heavy electro bangers. This should be a very interesting event. Group to see: If you didn't catch them at EDC (like me, I'm a fucking idiot) then you should definately make sure to see Sound of Stereo, these guys are honestly one of my favorite groups. I told all of my buddies to see them at EDC and I was the only one that didn't end up getting to see them because I was at main stage. Anyway, enough with my life story, make sure to go to this event, it will be one for the books.

Hey guys, sorry I havent been posting it was a busy weekend. On the music note, Uppermost has grown on me since I first heard him. His work has really been improving and now he is figuring out synths and sounds similiar to those of Deadmau5 and Wolfgang Gartner.
